  • We have made the assumption that our radiator controllers will fit on any existing valves you have. If you do not have the correct valve, your installer will be able to advise you.
  • For each appliance control selected we have added an Appliance Control Module to the material overview. The Appliance control module has 2x On/Off output, 1x OpenTherm output and DHW sensor input. If you have multiple Appliance Control Modules, check if they can be combined.
  • The Wireless roomthermostat DTs4 is availble in mutiple colours (black, White and Grey). The selected version in the material overview is white. Check with your reseller if another colour is preffered.
  • No rights can be derived from this advice. The overview is based on the completed questions; additional products may be required during installation.
  • Always follow the heat source manufacturer’s installation instructions regarding the hydraulic preconditions, connection options and matching parameter settings.
  • Connection and commissioning should only be carried out by a technically competent person. If necessary, contact us for training and advice.

Appliance control means that in case of any heat demand from any room, the appliance will be switched on.
Appliances that can be controlled:

  • Boiler On/Off
  • Boiler Opentherm
  • Central heating with zone valve per apartment

Appliances that can’t be controlled:

  • Central heating (without zone valve)
  • District heating

  • Secondary circuit (zones) will be variable flow, an electronic pump can be used

Hot water temperature is controlled with sensor, wireless transceiver and relay module for zone valve.

WHAT IS SMART ZONING?

Smart zoning means that you only need to heat the areas you’re using, keeping you in control, saving energy and creating your perfect comfort zone

ROOMS WITH MORE THAN 1 RADIATOR?

In case of multiple radiators in one room, it’s considered as one room. The maximum numbers of rooms is 12

COMPATIBLE SYSTEMS

Evohome supports different type of systems. You may have underfloor in the living room and radiators in the rooms. For each room you need to select the right system

RADIATOR

Rooms equipped with radiators can be controlled using wireless radiator controllers. Radiators must have compatible thermostatic radiator valves for direct mount of the controllers.

UNDERFLOOR WITH MANIFOLD

If your underfloor system includes a manifold, a controller must be mounted to obtain perfect comfort in each room through optimal control over the thermal actuators.

UNDERFLOOR SINGLE ZONE VALVE

If your underfloor system includes a single zone valve to open/close the water supply and there are no thermal actuators for additional zoning.

ELECTRICAL HEAT

In case you need to control an electrical radiator using an on/off relay. Please look carefully that relay specifications are compatible with electrical load.

ZONE VALVE

If the house is equipped with zone valves to control different floors or areas.

Indicate the number of radiators in the room. Temperature will be unique for the room but each radiator will have its own controller

In case of any obstruction (curtains, furniture,…) in front of the radiator or in case of multiple radiators in the room, we recommend to install an external temperature sensor

If you have two or more radiators in your room and only one is obstructed you can select NO, the wireless TRV head will act as a temperature sensor when placed on an unobstructed radiator, If all radiators are obstructed please select YES
